1. Import the template into n8n: Create a new workflow in n8n > Click the three dots menu > Select 'Import from File' > Choose the downloaded JSON file.
2. You'll need accounts with Anthropic, Reddit, Google Drive, Mattermost and Jina AI. See the Tools Required section above for links to create accounts with these services.
3. In the n8n credentials manager, create a Reddit OAuth2 credential. Double click a Reddit node, choose Credential to connect with, click Create new credential, then follow the on screen steps to authorize your Reddit account.
4. Create an Anthropic credential. In your Anthropic account, create an API key. In n8n, open any Anthropic Chat Model node, click Create new credential, paste the key, and save.
5. Connect Google Drive. In n8n, open a Google Drive node, click Create new credential, choose OAuth2, sign in to your Google account, and allow access to My Drive.
6. Set up Mattermost. In your Mattermost workspace, create an incoming webhook and copy its URL. Open the Send files to Mattermost node in n8n and paste the webhook URL and the channel name.
7. Get your Jina AI API key from the Jina AI dashboard. Open the Set Data node and paste the key into the Jina API Key field. Confirm the Get News Content node Authorization header uses this key.
8. Add your topics. In the Set Data node, enter one topic per line so the flow can split them correctly.
9. Adjust Reddit search and quality filters. In the Search Posts node, set your keyword and sort. In the Upvotes Requirement Filtering node, choose the upvote threshold that fits your niche.
10. Review file naming and packaging. In Convert to File, confirm the filename expression works for your language. Check Compress files for the zip name and output property.
11. Set the run time. Open the Schedule Trigger node and set the day and time that fits your team schedule.
12. Run a test with one topic. Execute the workflow, then check Google Drive for the zip and your Mattermost channel for the post. Review the report structure and make any small edits.
13. Troubleshoot common issues. If Reddit returns no items, lower the upvote filter or widen the search. If Jina AI returns an error, verify the API key. If Google Drive upload fails, reauthorize the credential. If Mattermost does not post, confirm webhook permissions and channel name.
