This Privacy Policy explains how Leon Petrou, Inc.(a Delaware corporation, “Futurise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit futurise.com(the “Site”), join the Futurise Pro community, or use any of our related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Futurise is operated by Leon Petrou, Inc. We are the controller responsible for your personal information. You can reach us at any time about privacy matters at privacy@futurise.com, or by post at:
Leon Petrou, Inc.

2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account and identity information — your name, email address, username, profile photo, bio, job title, company name, country, and (optionally) phone number. Your password is created and managed by our authentication provider, Clerk; we never see or store your password.
- Content you create — community posts, comments, likes, uploaded images, and private direct messages you send to other members.
- Payment information — your subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly; we do not receive or store your full card number. We retain a Stripe customer identifier and records of your subscription status, payments, and refunds.
- AI strategy tool information — if you use our AI strategy / intake tool, we collect the name, email, company, and website you provide, the content of your conversation, and information from the public website you ask us to review on your behalf. This is used to prepare a tailored proposal for you.
- Usage and device information — pages you view, links you follow, templates you download, your approximate activity times, and standard technical data such as a hashed visitor identifier (from our first-party
fut_vidcookie), a hashed version of your browser's user-agent, referring page, and the path you visited. We also use Google Analytics, which collects standard usage and device data (such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser, and device type) to help us measure traffic. We use all of this to understand and improve the Services.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services and your account.
- To process payments, manage your subscription, and enrol you in any included courses.
- To enable community features such as posts, comments, profiles, and messaging.
- To send transactional and service messages (for example, welcome, payment, and account emails).
- To operate the AI strategy tool and prepare proposals you request.
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug problems.
- To analyse usage and improve our content, features, and performance.
- To send marketing communications where permitted, which you can opt out of at any time.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases (for EEA / UK users)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Services you sign up for); legitimate interests (to secure, analyse, and improve the Services); consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (to meet our legal and regulatory duties).
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers (sub-processors) that help us run the Services, and only as needed for them to perform their function. These providers are bound by contract to protect your information:

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights and the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers are located primarily in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required (for example, for transfers from the EEA or UK), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. When you deactivate your account, we mark it as deleted and remove it from public view; we may retain certain records for a limited period to meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution requirements. You may request deletion of your information as described below.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, managed authentication through Clerk, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
California (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it; to access and delete your information; to correct inaccurate information; and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and you may use an authorised agent to make a request.
Other US states
If you live in a US state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, Oregon, or others), you have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. You may also appeal a decision we make about your request.
EEA / UK (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your information, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
How to exercise your rights
To make any request, email us at privacy@futurise.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
10. Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary — session cookies set by Clerk that keep you signed in. The Services will not work properly without these.
- First-party analytics — our own
fut_vidcookie, which stores a random identifier (kept in hashed form) so we can measure unique visits and improve the Site. - Google Analytics— Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure how visitors find and use the Site (for example, pages viewed, time on page, device, and approximate location). You can opt out using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though disabling necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
11. Marketing communications
We may use your email address to send you marketing about Futurise, including news and offers about our future products, courses, and features. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Transactional and service messages (such as payment receipts and important account notices) are not marketing and may still be sent while your account is active.
12. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
