1. Import the template into n8n: Create a new workflow in n8n > Click the three dots menu > Select 'Import from File' > Choose the downloaded JSON file.
2. You'll need accounts with Luma AI and Airtable. See the Tools Required section above for links to create accounts with these services.
3. In n8n, double click the HTTP Request node named Text 2 Video, open the Credential to connect with dropdown, click Create new credential, and follow the on screen instructions to add your Luma AI API key using HTTP Header Auth.
4. In Airtable, create a Personal Access Token with data read and write access to the target base. Copy the token for later use.
5. In n8n, double click the Airtable node named ADD Video Info, open the Credential to connect with dropdown, click Create new credential, choose Airtable Personal Access Token, paste your token, and save.
6. Prepare an Airtable table for generated videos. Include fields such as Model, Aspect, Length, and Prompt so they match the node mappings.
7. Open the Global SETTINGS node and set aspect_ratio, video_prompt, airtable_base, and airtable_table_generated_videos. Use your Airtable base ID and table ID for accurate routing.
8. Review the Text 2 Video node to confirm the model name ray 2 and that accept is set to application/json. Ensure your credential is selected.
9. Optionally edit the RANDOM Camera Motion code to add or remove camera moves to fit your brand style.
10. Click Test workflow to run. Check the execution output for a valid Luma AI response and confirm the Execution Data step exposes fields used by the Airtable node.
11. Open your Airtable base and verify a new row appears with Model, Aspect, Length, and Prompt populated.
12. Troubleshoot common issues: 401 errors usually mean a bad API key or token, fix the credentials. Missing table errors mean the base or table IDs in Global SETTINGS need correction. Invalid aspect ratio errors require updating the aspect_ratio value.
