When a new form arrives, the JotForm trigger starts the flow. A Set node cleans the data so phone numbers are numeric with a country code, dates become timestamps, and LinkedIn links are checked with a safe fallback. The contact is then subscribed in KlickTipp with mapped fields and an SMS number. Tags are built from the form using a tag array that includes webinar choice, date, and reminder settings. The array is split into single items and compared with all existing KlickTipp tags using a SQL like Merge. If a tag exists it is added. If it is missing the flow creates it first, then tags the contact. Aggregate nodes collect tag IDs so everything is applied in one step.

You only need a JotForm form and a KlickTipp list. Connect your accounts, choose the form, set your list ID, and confirm custom fields. You can adjust the phone prefix and URL rules to match your audience. How do you set it up?

  1. Import the template into n8n: Create a new workflow in n8n, click the three dots menu, select 'Import from File', then choose the downloaded JSON file
  2. You'll need accounts with JotForm and KlickTipp. See the Tools Required section above for links to create accounts with these services.
  3. Open the JotForm Trigger node. In the Credential to connect with dropdown, click Create new credential and follow the on screen steps. If an API key is requested, create it in your JotForm account under Settings then API and paste it into n8n.
  4. Select your webinar form in the JotForm Trigger node. Replace any sample form ID with your own form.
  5. Open each KlickTipp node and create a new KlickTipp credential. Click Create new credential, then follow the on screen instructions to connect your account securely.
  6. In the Subscribe contact node, set your target List ID and confirm field mappings for first name, last name, email, and SMS number.
  7. Open the Convert and set webinar data node. Adjust the phone prefix rule, date formatting, and LinkedIn fallback URL to match your needs.
  8. Open Define Array of tags from Jotform and review how tags are built from the form fields. Add any fixed tags you want applied to every registrant.
  9. Save the workflow and run a test by submitting your JotForm with sample data.
  10. Check the n8n execution log to confirm a new subscriber was created and fields are filled correctly in KlickTipp.
  11. If no tags appear, verify the Merge and If nodes show correct exist values and confirm your user email matches the contact in KlickTipp.
  12. When everything looks correct, switch the workflow to Active.
